  • ESL PartyLand: This web provides teachers with loads of lesson plans and reproducible materials to use in class. You can also find discussion forums, ideas for communicative practice activities, a chat room, a job board, links, and more. It also provides students with over 75 interactive quizzes, 15 discussion forums, interactive lessons on a variety of topics, a chat room, and lots of great links.

  • ESL Monkeys: Free English as a Second Language teaching and learning resources. Search for ESL jobs, English schools/programs, teachers' lesson plans, books, and more.


  • Multingles: Technology applied to the English class with lesson plans, activities, design, books, articles, official webs, organizations, etc.



  • Flash Cards Bank (Download): This page has a listing of the downloads currently accessible for free through this site. For your convenience, the downloads have been grouped according to category. You will need to have Adobe Reader installed on your computer (available as a free download from www.adobe.com), as almost all of the files are formatted into .PDF files. Some files are formatted as MS Word documents and such files are marked as such. Right-click on the file to open a new screen containing that particular download (some of the files are big, so be patient if they don't pop up straight away). Alternatively, you can right-click on the file name to save it directly to your hard-drive. You can also click on Go after the red slash to be taken to the webpage that describes and usually illustrates the download (this will open in a new browser, so you do not need to log in again to this download page).

  • English Powerpoints Page: You will find an entire collection of free English PowerPoint Presentations related to different subjects.


  • English Club: This site will help you learn or teach English as a second language. Access to all pages is free. You'll find everything from lessons for students to jobs for teachers, including interactive pages such as forums, games, quizzes, chat, help and penpals.

  • Articles for English Language Teachers: Articles written about English language teaching, including career development, specialisations, as well as ideas and suggestions for the classroom. We currently have 56 articles available.


  • Boggle’s World Teachers Resources: This ESL website is maintained by a group of ESL teachers in Asia and North America. Their aim is to bring printable quality resources to teachers and parents. It s a resource site for TEFL and ESL teachers who teach elementary and middle school English, ESL and EFL to kids. Just click, print, and copy.

  • Using English: It provides a large collection of English as a Second Language (ESL) tools & resources for students, teachers, learners and academics. Browse our grammar glossary and references of irregular verbs, phrasal verbs and idioms, ESL forums, articles, teacher handouts and printables, and find useful links and information on English. Topics cover the spectrum of ESL, EFL, ESOL, and EAP subject areas.

  • Learning Vocabulary Fun: It is a leading vocabulary website worldwide with the best flash online word games. The vocabulary games include an online word search, an online crossword puzzle, and hangman online (our version is called HangMouse). Users choose the vocabulary list that the online word game will use in the word game. The vocabulary games are popular for use on smart boards for word games to build vocabulary skills in classrooms.

  • Famous People English Lessons: EFL / EFL Lesson plans using biographies and profiles. You can download the activities on .doc or .pdf format, an mp3 listening and an online exercise.

  • PDF Lesson Plans: You can select from 141 free downloadable PDF lesson plans and handouts, with answers and teachers' notes where needed, for all levels, including exam lessons for ESL/EFL teachers.

  • 5 Minutes English: Learning English as a second language (ESL) is not always easy, but it should be fun.5 Minute English has been designed to give you short and easy explanations and exercises.

  • Manythings.org: Interesting Things for ESL Students. A fun study site for learners of English as a Second Language.Word games, puzzles, quizzes, exercises, slang, proverbs and much more.

  • Lingual.net: Learning English through movies. You can watch the videos (2 minutes long) with subtitles, give a comment and check the script.

  • Filmblog: Teaching and learning English with films.
  • Malted: Online activities, adaptable didactic units and resources for ESO and Bachillerato. Malted is also an educational tool to create interactive didactic contents.


  • Calendar 2008 with holidays and important events.:The online calendar 2009 list holidays and other important events in English speaking countries. Some dates are linked to texts on ego4u. So if you want to find out more about a certain event, just click on the link. Every year, we prepare a PDF calendar that you can download and print for free. This year, these are mini posters on various topics. To practise the words, you can also download vocabulary cards.   • PBSKids :Interactive games, stories, and printable character activities. Music clips, books, and tips for parents.

  • Enjoy English: These personal pages, non-profit making, are written for learners of English of all over the world. Pictures and sounds are used for pedagogical benefits only. It contains nursery rhymes, karaoke, tongue twisters, grammar and much more.

  • ESLBears: The majority of links and activities (vocabulary, reading, listening, games, grammar, writing, etc.) are appropriate for students whose English ability ranges from entry-level to intermediate. This is a multimedia learning site. Most activities require one of the following plug-ins: Flash, Shockwave, or a media player (such as Real Alternative). These plug-ins can be easily acquired through links on this downloads page.

  • Englishbanana: It is a great site for students and teachers of English. Featuring lots of free resources and downloads for learning and teaching ESL and EFL, including podcasts, videos, worksheets, drama scripts and photos.

Use this certificate maker to print rewards for students, friends, family, party guests, anybody.   • USALearns: The site offers an English course for adults with three different levels to improve basic reading, writing, speaking and life skills.

  • Englishpond: It covers vast areas of English (ESL, EFL, ELT, ESOL) learning and teaching. The materials include among others : Printable Worksheets, Self-grading flash quizzes and Exercises, Video Lessons, E-books Powerpoint lessons and more.
